Children's Books PDM produces Children's Books from original art for a variety of publishers. We understand the fragile nature of the art and the complexity involved in its reproduction. Image Capture and Color Correction The original art is digitally captured with a Betterlight scan back mounted on a 4 x 5 view camera. This high-resolution capture is then processed through a custom ICC profile written specifically for this reproduction process. Color correction and proofing follow the capture based on specific printer requirements. Customer Proofs and Final Files Publishers are provided digital proofs to evaluate color and color digital "blueline" prints to check copy content. Final Digital Files are delivered to the printers via CD/DVD or electronically over one of our telecommunication lines. Print files can be repurposed for book Catalogs, Websites, POP, or Posters. Multiple copies of proofs can be printed for sales and marketing mockups.
