Decor and Retail

PDM provides Décor prints on a variety of rigid and flexible substrates for Interior Designers, Art Consultants, homeowners, and retail businesses.

DÉCOR PRINTS

Décor prints differ from fine art prints in three major ways. The equipment used to make the print, the print substrate, and life expectancy.

PDM’s décor prints are created on eco-solvent, UV, or dye-sub printers. This variety of printers allows us to print on vinyl and paper wall covering, a large variety of rigid materials, and cloth. Print life varies by material, but as an example, our custom wall covering has the same fire rating and expected life as any off the shelf wall paper.

IMAGES FOR DÉCOR PRINTS

Photographs, including personal, professional or stock can be turned into wall covering. Original art can also be captured and printed on any number of substrates. We will only print photography and art that is accompanied by a release from the original photographer or artist.

RETAIL PRINTING

From menu boards, aisle markers, printed ceiling tiles and fluorescent fixture lenses, to floor graphics, counter cards, and window clings, there is nothing to limit a designers imagination. Most rigid and flexible print products can be cut to custom shapes after printing. Retail products are also printed on our eco-solvent, UV, or dye-sub printers.

THE PDM DIFFERENCE…
PROFILES & QUALITY MATERIALS

Just like our fine art prints, every material we print on has been custom profiled for the most accurate color reproduction possible for the given printer and substrate combination. Material selection is based first on the quality of the product and second on competitive pricing.

Print files
PDF, Tiff, JPEG, or Illustrator are all acceptable file types. Regardless of the final size, we would prefer to start with at least a 300 dpi RGB file. Original art or photography can also be used, as we can capture or scan almost any sized image for use as a décor print.
